- Keelby -
Take a drive along the A18 about nine miles to the west of Grimsby and you reach the village of Keelby.
Keelby has a population of about 2,500 and has experienced a rapid growth.
Visitors will find a number of places of interest including a war memorial to the men who lost their lives in the First World War and the parish church.
There are a number of public walks from the village which is surrounded by the Earl of Yarborough's estate.
Ramblers can walk through Pelham Woods to the south of the village or, for those who like a longer trek, there is the footpath that runs between Keelby and Roxton to the north west.
Refreshments and bar meals are available from the two village pubs, the Kings Head and the Nags Head.
Public transport to the village is limited though services do run daily.
